Concept My instruments have a retro-futuristic design: They look as if someone would have designed them back in the 50's, trying to anticipate the looks of a guitar from the 21st. Century. My design priorities are: playability, sound, visuals (in that order). My main influences come from those fantastic concept cars from the 50's and the 60's that never made it into production. Brand name Based on feedback from my customers and the tradition of the ancient luthiers, my instruments are "Leonardo Lospennato". Is that about ego? Far from it. Is the confidence and honesty of putting your own name behind your work. The logo The logo is a signature derived from my initials. The font used in this website are two classic themselves: Frutiger and LCARS (the one from the computers on "Star Trek"). The texts are mostly wrtitten in Arial (not because I like the font, but because of web compatibility issues).
